NOTICE OF PASSAGE INTO ETERNAL LIFE - VPC PRESIDENT BERNYCE EDWARDS
It is with sadness that I'm conveying to the members of Good Shepherd Parish, the entire Renaissance Vicariate, and the Archdiocese of Detroit, the passing away of our beloved and dedicated member, Bernyce Edwards, who was also current President of the Vicariate Pastoral Council. She passed away at St. John's hospital, on Sunday August 22, 2010, after a very brief illness, leaving everybody shocked and in disbelief. But, our faith in God and His unfailing will should continue to sustain us even in the midst of life's calamities and set-backs.
Bernyce Edwards was a retired Detroit Public School Principal and a member of Good Shepherd Parish, Detroit. She served as an ex-officio member of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council and Coordinating Committee, a St. John Senior Health trustee, a Casa Richard Academy board member, an executive board member of the Renaissance Vicariate, and a member of the Allocation Committee.
